Planeswalker

Her name is Liliana Vess and she is a Planeswalker. She is "witty, magnetic, and unabashedly sexy." She looks like she's in her 20s but being an immortal Planeswalker, it's hard to tell. Read her story here.

So far, we don't yet the rule regarding Planeswalker. But check her out. A Vampiric Tutor and a Living Death on steroid in one card? Insane. Reanimation deck will definitely comes back.

Of course she is no Urza, or Serra, or Freyalise, or even Tevesh Szat. But she's a planeswalker nonetheless. Wizards of the Coast had finally make Planeswalkers into cards.

How did I find the card? Solve this puzzle and WotC will show it to you. And if you can't (or don't want to) solve the puzzle, I got the answer. I've done the dirty work for you. And by that, I mean that I found the answer from MTGSalvation forum.

"Here is an exclusive Planeswalker rules preview. Creatures can attack Planeswalkers. If a creature does attack one of your Planeswalkers, your creature can block it as though it were attacking you. If a Planeswalker is dealt combat damage, it loses that much loyalty."

Loyalty? What the hell is this new term mean? Only time will tell.

Here's the screenshot of the solved puzzle:

I'm still playing a 7 years old game...

Ok, I started to play Diablo 2 yet again. This time I choose to play as Necromancer and you know what? Necromancer is the boss. In what way? Well, by the time I reached level 15, my character has the ability to command 8 entities. The rogue mercenary, a golem and six skeletons; 3 mages and 3 melee ones. Defeating Andariel was quite a breeze; the golem acts as the tank and the rogue, damage dealer. The skeletons did help but you don't want to depend on them when fighting bosses.

By this time, I have reached the Canyon of Magi and quite close to finding the Tomb of Tal'rasha. I think I might have some problem fighting Duriel as the sob is a melee combatant and the space my character will be fighting him is quite small. So far, the only character that I played that has defeated Diablo and Baal is the Paladin and the chump had kickass damage and good combat auras but I still end up struggling to kill both demons. I just dread what will happened to my Necromancer when meeting these bad asses...

P.S- Damn, I missed WoW...

PT-KL

The first Pro Tour for next year will be here in Malaysia. It's been years since the last time they had a big event in Malaysia. The last time it was Invitational 2000 where Chris Pikula won and gave birth to the Meddling Mage. Meddling Mage, the bane of all combo decks. If only Meddling Mage is still legal, there will be no Dragonstorm.

The format for PTQ-KL will be Lowryn limited while the PT itself will be Lowryn/Morningtide booster draft. Of course, none of the Gamer Malaya guys are qualified for the Pro Tour. At least not yet. We can still get a spot via the PTQ. The fact that it's not a constructed format is good news for me since I hate constructed and usually prefer to play limited.

Read here for more info.

Oblivion... again

I'm back into the digital world. I start with small steps first. No new games. Just, urm, Oblivion. Again. I think I've officially played Oblivion more than I've played KotOR. The funny thing is that I've played the original game only. Not the Shivering Isles expansion. Here's the trailer for Shivering Isles. Maybe I should get it tomorrow.

I should start saving some money. Next Gen consoles have been out for a while and I still haven't got any of it.

E3 - Dirt

Guess who's back? Here's the clue. it starts with an "r" and ends with "exxdelarocha". I'm still retired from gaming. But it's kinda like Dr M's retirement from politics. In other words, I still follow the gaming world. Well, sort of.

Anyway, today I went to Lowyat, following my friend who bought a new PC. I was sitting in front of C-Zone when I saw this sick preview. By sick, I mean, fucking awesome.

Then I realised that E3 just finished. Almost a month now. Usually my source of gaming news is EGM. Since I haven't bought a copy of EGM in a few months, no wonder that I didn't about E3 2007. Anyway, here's the E3 video for Dirt (should look better on HD):

There. I just kicked start this dying blog.

Update: My bad. This game's already released even before E3. Just saw the video at Lowyat and assumed it's not out yet. Well, the next post will really be about E3 then.
